Delivery
The Taurus Fuels Management System allows you to
automatically schedule deliveries to your customers based on
either
K-Factors (degree days), the Julian calendar, day of week
route, metering, cycles within delivery zones, or as part of a
satellite network. Multiple products for each customer are
easily managed. Usable tank size, elapsed degree days
information, and historical fuel usage are all factored into
tuning your deliveries to the most profitable size.
Delivery Scheduling
The system utilizes a calculated ideal drop per product per
site and the historical degree-day factor in order to project
the next delivery.
Automatically Scheduled
Ticket requests can be initiated directly by the operators
and stored in the holding file for dispatch and credit review.
Truck Route Scheduled
Routes can be configured by combining delivery zones and
interactively selecting high urgency customers or will-call
customers.

Holding File
All tickets may be sent to the ticket holding file to be
checked for credit and delivery worthiness and then printed.
Scheduling Options
Customers may be labeled individually as:
- Automatic customers-Hot water/No hot water - Julian
customers
- Satellite customers - Metered customers
- Cycle customers - Will call customers
Day of Week Route
Delivery history is maintained for each customer / product.
Degree days are calculated for each customer / product for each
season. Or, if you wish, individual degree day factors can be
locked in or adjusted.
Degree Day History
The system maintains a degree day history file which is then
used, along with the delivery history, to illustrate each
customer's or a group of customers degree day patterns.
Delivery Projections
The Fuels Management System provides a set of projection
reports so you can gauge projected product usage for a specific
projected degree-day range. These reports present information
based upon all existing customers' current degree day factor and
tank status.
Optimized Degree Day Calculations
The Fuels Management System constantly recalculates the
user's Degree Day factor if the customer's delivery falls within
configurable parameters. If the delivery does not fall within
these parameters, the customer is listed on a daily Mini-Maxi
report indicating that additional attention is needed. In this
way the system ensures that it is always using valid deliveries
when optimizing the customer's degree day factor.
Truck and Driver
The Fuels Management system maintains history on both your
trucks and your drivers. Reports are provided showing you your
truck usage and driver efficiency.
