or hardware device, our expert staff will work with you to
provide it as quickly as possible.
Below is a brief description of some of these products.
Apollo Systems Visual Dispatcher
Apollo Systems created the Visual Dispatcher SystemT for fuel
and propane retailers. It operates on Windows 95®, 98®, or
NT® and LAN's. Developed by oil industry executives, with over
40 years combined experience, it was created to assist your
field service organization in maximizing productivity and
profitability through more efficient scheduling, dispatch,
accountability and management of service personnel. . Apollo
developed this software and radio system interface, called
Visual DispatcherT, using rugged Mobile Data Terminals (MDT's)
installed in service vehicles and equipped with Global
Positioning receivers (GPS) to track vehicles, service
technicians, and workorders 24 hours a day. Smart dealers
recognize efficient service dispatch and accountability are the
keys to profitability. For assistance in achieving these goals

Mobile Computing Corporation Fuel Delivery Interface
This system allows for complete delivery information to be
automatically communicated to delivery trucks and drivers.
Whenever tickets are printed, either as a regular delivery
extraction or an individual will call, this information is also
sent to the MCC base dispatch computer. From here the dispatcher
can update the most appropriate trucks in the field by sending
information over radio directly to the truck’s on-board
computer. Once deliveries are made that information is
automatically forwarded to the main accounts receivable system
as delivery posting records and payment records (if applicable),
significantly reducing time and paperwork.
Mobile Computing Corporation Field Service Interface
This system gives service technicians out in the field access
to all the information they need to complete their work in an
efficient and timely manner. When a call comes in and a work
order is created, the operator or dispatcher has an option to
dispatch it to the MCC base dispatch computer. From here the
dispatcher can transmit work order information directly over
radio to the closest and most available technician to the site.
Upon completion of the service call the technician has the
option of creating an invoice and leaving it at the customer
site. The information is automatically sent back to the main
accounts receivable system as service call posting records. If
you are using the dispatching and scheduling system, there is
the possibility of real-time updating of the status of employees
and work orders.
Liquid Controls Corporation Fuel Delivery Interface
This system provides customer delivery information to
drivers, and automatically records the volume of each delivery
made. Current delivery ticket information is loaded from the
office computer into a portable memory cartridge for each truck.
The "on-board" truck computer is controlled via a
rugged "Lap Pad" which combines a 24-button,
alpha-numeric keypad with a 2 line by 40 character backlit
display. The driver calls up each scheduled drop on his
computer, then dispenses fuel as usual. Unscheduled deliveries
can be input as needed along with cash payments. Priced, taxed
and extended invoices can be printed on the spot. At end of
shift, the driver returns the memory cartridge to the office,
where the day’s transactions are automatically transferred to
the accounts receivable posting file. Modular add-on system
options include an odometer pulser to record mileage, an
electronic temperature volume compensator, and a solenoid block
valve for additional security and preset delivery maximum. The
LCC system is designed to be driver-friendly, while greatly
reducing paperwork and increasing productivity.
Midwest Computer Register Corp. Fuel Delivery Interface
The Mid:Com 8000 uses a 22-key keyboard and 4 line
alpha-numeric display for on-truck computer operation. Data
cards for each driver are loaded with up to 1,000 delivery
ticket records at the office. At each stop the driver calls up
the matching record and delivers the fuel as usual. The 8000
Register Head generates pulses from the meter on which it is
mounted. Generated Pulses are then calibrated and sent forward
to the computer and to a non-reset table totalizer to store total
units delivered. The attached printer extends the price and
calculates taxes. Data cards are returned to the office at the
end of shift, and transactions are transferred to the accounts
receivable posting file. The cab-mounted computer is compact at
12" x 5" x 8" and "menu-driven" for
ease of operation. The register head adapts to all liquid meters
and provides an optional Temperature Volume Compensator. Preset
deliveries are controlled by a two-stage solenoid valve or
optional electro-mechanical actuator. Mid:Com has earned a
reputation for reliability, working in weather extremes from the
sub zero north slope of Alaska to the hot, humid conditions of
our southeastern states.
